What is BMI?
BMI is your body mass index which is a number calculated from a person's weight and height. It's easy to calculate your BMI using or tool below, simply measure yourself (height in inches or cm) and weight yourself (in pounds or kilos). Once you have your height and your weight, simply enter these in our body mass index calculator, along with your gender and age. It will calculate your body mass index and tell you if you are in your correct weight range.



Interpreting your BMI
Your BMI will also vary between your muscle mass, if you do a lot of exercise and have built muscle. You can expect that your BMI number will not be as accurate, since muscle mass weighs. However most people can use this tool to get an approximate reading on their BMI.
